The Obama administration claims Russia continues to launch cyberattacks against American targets. In an interview with “CBS This Morning” co-host Charlie Rose, Secretary of State John Kerry said there’s “no question about it.”
“And do we assume we do it to them?” Rose asked.
“They assume that we do, and they think we do, but not the same kind of thing, no,” Kerry said.

“Well, there is a lot of cyber back and forth in the world probing certain governmental entities, etc. That’s quite different from, I think — and understanding defenses in order to be able to protect yourself and so forth. I think that invading the premises of cyberspace of the national party committees is –”
“Beyond the pale,” Rose said.
“Way beyond,” Kerry responded.
Kerry said he believes the selective leaking of John Podesta and the Democratic National Committee emails was particularly malicious. He declined to say whether President Obama has completed his promised retaliation against Russia.
